How much concrete can a concrete mixer truck mix in one load?

The loading capacity of a concrete mixer truck depends on factors such as the model, body volume, and rotational speed. Concrete mixer trucks commonly available on the market are generally classified into small, medium, and large sizes.

Small mixer trucks: Typically have capacities ranging from 3 to 8 cubic meters, suitable for small-scale construction sites, with relatively affordable prices and compact structures.

Medium mixer trucks: Usually have capacities ranging from 6 to 12 cubic meters, suitable for medium-sized construction sites, offering strong loading capabilities and high work efficiency.

Large mixer trucks: Capable of holding more than 14 cubic meters, suitable for large-scale construction sites with strong load-bearing capacities.

In theory, higher vehicle speeds and longer mixing times allow for loading more concrete. However, actual loading capacity also depends on factors such as concrete mix proportions and consistency. Therefore, adjustments are necessary during specific operations based on the actual conditions.

Apart from model and volume, several other factors affect the mixing efficiency of concrete mixer trucks. For instance, excessively long mixing times can lead to uneven concrete, while too short mixing times may result in large clumps of mortar, affecting concrete quality. Hence, achieving optimal mixing results also requires adjusting mixing times and other parameters during operation.
