Clean the concrete storage tank (mixing drum) and the inlet and outlet ports
As concrete solidifies into hard lumps in a short time and has a certain corrosive effect on steel and paint, it is a daily maintenance task that must be carried out carefully to clean the concrete adhering to the concrete storage tank and the inlet and outlet ports after each use.
This includes:
a. Before each loading, rinse the feeding port with water to keep it moist during the loading process.
b. While loading the materials, fill the water tank for cleaning that comes with the vehicle with water.
c. After loading, rinse the feeding port to clean the remaining concrete near the feeding port.
d. After unloading at the construction site, rinse the discharge chute and add 30 to 40 liters of cleaning water to the concrete storage tank. When the vehicle returns, keep the concrete storage tank rotating slowly in the forward direction.
e. Remember to drain the sewage from the concrete storage tank before loading materials next time.
f. Thoroughly clean the concrete storage tank and the area around the inlet and outlet ports at the end of each day’s work to ensure that there is no cement adhering or concrete lumps.
If any of the above-mentioned tasks are not carried out carefully once, they will cause a lot of trouble for future work.
