  2. Reduced Lubrication:
    • Overheating reduces the viscosity of the hydraulic fluid, which in turn decreases its lubricating properties. This can lead to increased wear on hydraulic components, significantly shortening their lifespan.
  3. Decreased Pump Efficiency:
    • As the temperature of the hydraulic fluid rises and its viscosity decreases, the pump may experience increased internal leakage. This results in a reduction in the pump’s actual flow rate, impacting its overall efficiency.
  4. Valve Malfunction:
