Maintenance of dump trucks

Usually, in the operation of dump trucks, there are many minor issues that are easily overlooked and become hidden dangers during driving, which are very worthy of the attention of drivers. The manufacturer of dump truck parts reminds you that after picking up the new vehicle, you should refuel “jump gun”. Once the fuel gun “jump gun”, do not refuel anymore. This move is to check whether the fuel gauge of the new car is accurate. Don’t fill up the subsequent refueling for the sake of the vehicle’s economy. There is no need to fill up the fuel tank in the future. Generally, fill it up to two-thirds.

The brake and hub bearing oil should be maintained together. Generally, two maintenance operations should be carried out each time, that is, once every three months.

2. Engine oil is basically changed according to the mileage driven. We usually change it every 8,000 kilometers or so. If there is no fixed replacement time for the tires, we usually replace them, or if the pattern is very light.

The gear oil of the 3 transmission does not need to be replaced frequently. Under normal circumstances, it is sufficient to replace it every six months or half a year. The gear oil on the rear axle can be changed a little. If you run for a long time without taking a break for three months, remove the rear axle for maintenance and close the gap.

4. Regularly applying grease to dump trucks has significant benefits. It should be done at least once a month, and twice if possible. This is mainly because the hydraulic cylinder pins, steel plate pins, and directional pins wear out a lot, so grease should be added frequently.

5. When repairing vehicles, fully support the brackets. It is strictly prohibited for maintenance personnel to enter the bottom of the box for work without fully supporting the brackets.

As long as these maintenance measures are well taken, the vehicle is generally in good condition and less likely to have problems.
