Howo Truck is one of the brands under China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, and there are also Stail Truck, Sinotruk Truck, etc.

Howo Truck was born in 2004. In the same year, Howo and Volvo Truck Group jointly developed trucks. A year later, the first Howo 7 was produced from the production line. Howo 7 has greatly improved the comfort of the cab, engine allocation, and transmission durability. It was a high-end representative of China’s heavy trucks at that time.

In 2006, the 50th anniversary of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, Howo 7 ushered in the first revision. The biggest difference is that the original painted grille was replaced with a black matte plastic grille, and the entire powertrain was also a self-made product of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. Not long after, Howo Truck sales exceeded 10,000 units.

In 2009, Howo Truck continued to cooperate technically with the German man brand. Since then, Howo has released a variety of models: HOWO T7, HOWO T7H, HOWO NX series, HOWO NS series, etc.

In December 2017, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group held a ceremony for the one millionth Howo Truck to roll off the production line. The representative model that rolled off the production line was a 2018 T7H 440 6×4 tractor.
From the first Howo Truck to the one millionth Howo Truck, Howo took a full fourteen years to establish the Howo brand in the world and bring high-quality trucks to all parts of the world.
