Refrigerated Truck Refrigeration Unit Cleaning Plan

To maintain the long-term efficiency of a refrigeration unit, it’s essential to clean and maintain the system after a certain period of use. Below is a professional cleaning plan for the refrigeration unit:

Step 1: Disassembly of Components

To clean the refrigeration unit, disassembly is required, as the parts that need cleaning are located inside the system and are not easily accessible. The components of an industrial refrigeration unit are often interconnected, with complex wiring. It is crucial to understand the overall structure of the unit before attempting to disassemble it.

Step 2: Cleaning the Connections Between the Equipment and the Condenser

After disassembling the necessary components, locate the water inlet direction of the condenser. Connect the water inlet or outlet to a water pump, and then use tools to heat the pipeline.

Step 3: Chemical Cleaning

Once everything is properly connected, start by running clean water through the system for about 20 minutes to flush out any dirt or debris. Repeat this process three times. After the water flush, move on to the chemical cleaning stage. Add a cleaning agent, ensuring the pH value remains between 4-5 for 2-3 hours. After this, drain the cleaning solution and thoroughly rinse the system to remove any residual chemicals. The final pH level should be around 6.5.

Step 4: Reassembly

After cleaning, reassemble the refrigeration unit to its original state, completing the cleaning process.

This method ensures the refrigeration unit remains efficient, enhancing its cooling performance. Regular maintenance following this cleaning procedure will extend the life and efficiency of the refrigeration system.
