1, the pump shell cracks can generally be repaired by electric welding or oxygen welding, or bonded with epoxy resin, if it is the bearing seat hole excessive wear purchase need to insert repair, pump shell inlet room end face if there are pitting, grooves or not usually, available lathe turning repair.
2, pump shaft damage and corrosion. Use hanging tin to fill spots, pits, and then round. Pump shaft wear can be repaired by electroplating method to ensure smooth operation of bearings without noise.
3, the material of the water seal is rubber, long-term use of natural aging, deformation or damage, water seal needs to be replaced in time.
Second, the installation and test of the sprinkler pump:
1, the assembly of sprinkler pump shaft and impeller, should make the end of the impeller hole higher than the end of the pump shaft 0.10-0.50mm (refers to the impeller with bolts fixed pump) in order to press. Then install the gasket, tighten the fixing bolts, install the water seal assembly, and lock it with a pin round.
2, the pump impeller into the pump shell, set the rear bearing lock ring on one end of the shaft, and then the rear bearing, spacer and front bearing in turn into the pump shell (some pump bearings are integral, then the integral bearing into the pump shell can be), and review its coordination, and then into the lock ring.
3. Install the V-belt wheel hub at the front end of the pump shaft, tighten it with bolts, then install the V-belt wheel and fan blade, tighten it with nuts, and then lock it with an open lock (or lock piece).4, install the pump cover plate and liner (some pumps do not have cover plate). The impeller and cover plate are required (without cover plate, the impeller and the front wall of the cylinder block are required to have a gap of 0.17-0.75mm.
5, after the pump V-belt wheel is installed, the swing difference measured in the groove shall not exceed 1.0mm, the general experience is: swing the impeller when the pin has a gap feeling is appropriate.
6, the pump should be tested before loading. The empirical practice is: rotate the V-belt wheel by hand, there should be no blocking phenomenon, block the pump shell inlet, and then add water to the impeller chamber, rotate the pump shaft, and the inspection hole should be free of water leakage. If there is blockage and water leakage, the cause should be identified and excluded.
If possible, the pump should be installed on the test bench to do a running test to see its displacement and whether there is water leakage (no test bench can be compared with the new pump). After the test is completed, grease should be added to the pump.
